In a world where there are literally hundreds of devices to choose from, it’s hard to narrow down which tool is worth asking for this holiday season–especially if they come with a hefty price tag.
Sure, you could ask for an in-office skin care treatment like micro needling, lasers, or the latest hyaluronic acid mask, but honestly, those don’t allow me to regularly maintain my skin like the in-home treatments below. Over the years, I’ve built up quite a collection of beauty tools: facial steamers, radio frequency devices, microneedling tools, microcurrent gadgets, LED light therapy devices, and more.
One website that has really earned my trust is CurrentBody. They started by curating the best beauty tools on the market on London’s famous Harley Street, then on their website, and have since developed their own line.
Initially, I was skeptical—who needs another beauty brand launching their own tools? But what impressed me was their trackable commitment to improving existing devices to create the best at home facial devices. For example, a popular celebrity face mask with a hard shell (that makes you look like Jason from Friday the 13th) was reimagined by CurrentBody in a flexible silicone, added chin lights, enhanced wavelengths, and traceability to ensure the device works as promised.
Because I truly believe in the quality of their products (both their private line and others they carry), I reached out and asked CurrentBody to sponsor this post so I can give you the best beauty deals for Black Friday. And now, I’m excited to share with you the 5 facial tools that have made the biggest impact on my beauty routine.
First up are my favorite light therapy tools…
1. LED Light Therapy Face Mask: Series 2: BEST FOR WRINKLES AND HEALING
Like I mentioned above, they’ve not only improved upon what was available on the market, but they improved upon their own led devices to make it the best. Read my review here and see my before and after results. While the series 1 is still available, it’s worth the extra expense for the deep near-infrared–especially if your goal is to reduce wrinkles. The deep near-infrared light will penetrate the skin at a deeper level. It’s a great fit for most skin types unless you’re super sensitive to light and only takes 10 minutes a day. And, if you’re dealing with dry skin, they make a green tea serum you can pair with it to make those fine lines, wrinkles, go away even faster.
Oh, and fun fact–it was on Emily in Paris Season 3!

2. Anti-Acne LED Light Therapy Face Mask: BEST FOR ACNE/PROBLEM SKIN AND WRINKLES
If acne and inflammation are your main skin concerns, this light therapy treatment’s a solid pick to reduce redness. Blue Light therapy will destroy bacteria while red light reduces inflammation and calms the skin down, while still giving the wrinkle-fighting benefit of the red light mask. You miss the infrared light, which penetrates more deeply into the skin to get those skin cells to perk up, but if your main battle is killing acne causing bacteria and glow, this is an awesome led light therapy mask. It’ll only take you 10 minutes a night.

3. Dermalux FlexMD: BEST FLEXIBILITY LED LIGHT
While it is a luxury beauty device (expensive but effective!) and a little more time consuming, this is the device that I use most–and so do many celebrity estheticians such as Melanie Simons and Sarah Chapman (Meghan Markle’s London esthetician)
If I have a half hour (I do 2-3 times a week), this is the device I reach for because I can do infrared and blue light alone when my skin is stressed out. While red light therapy is amazing, I’ve noticed sometimes I have some photosensitivity. With cutting the red and doing the infrared and blue I’ve noticed my skin tone gets very glowy, my muscle tension in my forehead is relieved, anti aging benefits, and the rosacea redness completely goes away. Also the rosacea breakouts go away. When my skin is in great shape, I choose an LED treatment with red and infrared so the wrinkles go away. Also, depending on the cause of the dark spots, blue therapy may be more effective than red light therapy. It just depends on the cause.

My other favorite beauty tools…
4. ZIIP HALO Facial Toning Device: BEST FLEXIBILITY ELECTRICAL FACIAL
If you’ve been considering microcurrent, read my ZIIP vs. NuFace review. This is probably my ride or die device since it’s so portable and versatile, but hopefully we’ll never be in that deserted island situation. I rotate LED light therapy, my ZIIP, and radiofrequency every single night without fail. They all do slightly different things and keep my skin looking holiday party ready–even if I had skin inflammation from having sugar or dairy the night before. I love that all I have to do is switch my facial choice on the ZIIP app and I can target whatever I want–inflammation, collagen building, facial muscles, lymphatic system, skin tone, signs of aging, you name it. But together with the LED light therapy is long term magic. So much magic that CurrentBody even partnered with ZIIP to package LED and microcurrent together.

5. CurrentBody Skin RF Radio Frequency Skin Tightening Device: BEST FOR DEEP WRINKLES AND SAGGING SKIN
So this isn’t my first RF device but it’s the best I’ve tried so far for several reasons, which you can read about here. In summary, you can use it on every part of your face and neck except under the eyes–full face is uniquely tested unlike some other devices I’ve tried. You only need to do it once a week for 1 hour (or 5 minutes per section of the face) and it is the only thing that has gotten rid of 2 deep forehead lines after one time. It’s extremely effective at building the production of collagen and the heat is very relaxing to my muscles. I don’t think this is a necessary device until you have deep wrinkles, so I would mark it as an amazing gift for anyone over 35.

6. Infrared Sauna Blanket: BEST FOR GLOWING SKIN, STRESS, + DETOX
Adding this into my routine has made me feel like I have a fully decked out personal spa in my home. Not only will you burn calories while using it, but the whole body relaxation is amazing. I like to multitask so I typically do this while also doing my Dermalux LED on my face. This is one tool I actually lend to my friends because it helps with back pain and anxiety as well. It’s a spa in a bag.
